Are you one of the majority who loves to work under pressure? We do have professional goals, I know we do, but I'm not a fan of working under pressure. You may have heard others say, "Sleep is for the weak!" but it's just not for everyone.

Pushing yourself beyond your mental, physical, and spiritual limits can help you feel successful now, but it surely won't do you any good in the long run. Success is not a sprint but a marathon, so you need all the energy that you need for the long haul.
If you're like me, who wants to break that cycle of "zombie-ness", then read on.
Working is essential to reach our goals, but it is not the only thing that we should focus on when trying to succeed. Taking care of yourself is vital too!
Dear friend, set aside that mindset that you can put yourself last and still expect to reach for the stars. It doesn't work that way.
Listen, and try out these helpful tips for a change:
Try practicing simple breathing exercises.
Take some time to reflect on how grateful you are.
Focus on what's ahead.
Use the time to travel home to practice these moments of mental rest.
Cut out some procrastination habits.
Stop flipping through social media to delay getting out of bed.
Get some extra sleep.
Minimize distractions that wake you up.
Ignore the pressure to be hustling - day in and day out. And stop burning the midnight oil, sounds family? Investing in your mind and body will make you feel less guilty about taking care of yourself. And remember, that guilt feeling that tugs you whenever you ignore your needs, doesn't lead you anywhere near your goals. Oh-oh...
Work can wait until tomorrow, and if it can't, get some help, ask for some help, because who knows, someone might want to help you take the load off yourself, like a Virtual Assistant!
